Our mission is to create and grow a community of artist/dancers that will continue artistic exploration, education, and produce quality performance throughout Northern Virginia, the country and ultimately abroad. It is our goal to create a space where artist can come see a familiar face, or meet new people, openly exchange new ideas and even revisit old ideas, work harder then they thought they could, exposes ourselves to new performance opportunities and give audiences one brilliant performance after another.

It is a firm belief of the Mayzsoul directors that today’s society is lacking a true sense of community; we intend to create one. We are also interested in producing and seeing more thought provoking beautiful art works coming onto the scene. Gandhi said “Be the change you seek to make in the world!” We have lovingly, passionately and joyfully decided to take on Gandhi’s challenge. Mayzsoul is the creation of a community coming together to express the art within each members soul and the soul of the company as a whole!
