Mayzsoul provides the community with artistic exploration and education through classes and performances. Mayzsoul is committed to inspiring and developing the next generation of dancers, and it is for this reason that the company holds open classes and workshops.

Extreme Recess: Dance & Music!
Mayzsoul is teaming up with Dream for Kids and Chris Collins Dance Studio to present a Dance/Music adaptive sports clinic for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Learn more here.

Open Classes
Mayzsoul offers free open classes during the week. These classes alternate between modern, ballet, and jazz/hip-hop, and are available for anyone over 18 years of age—with or without previous dance training. To sign up, email info@mayzsoul.org

Master Classes
Mayzsoul holds affordable master classes several times during the year. These classes are organized into various age groups and levels. Master classes are available in several genres of dance: ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, yoga, and acrobatic dance.

Workshops
Workshops are generally three hours in length, and are an opportunity for dancers to focus on one or two disciplines of dance in an intense and supportive setting.

K-12 After-School Programs
These programs focus on the fundamentals of dance, student choreography, and structured performances.

Residencies
Residencies give students the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform a new work or repertory from Mayzsoul.

Mayzsoul is available to bring master classes, workshops, after-school programs, and residencies to your school or studio. These classes will be tailored to fit your school’s needs. Whether the experience is an hour long master class or a week long residency, students will gain an appreciation of dance, newfound creativity, and confidence in their abilities and aspirations.
