MAYZSOUL PRESENTS “FRESH”
Local Washington D.C. based company presents two evenings of dance performances
McLean, VA – Mayzsoul Inc., a Washington, D.C. Metropolitan based dance company, will present its newest work, “FRESH”, July 9th and 10th, 2010, at 8:00 PM. The performances will be held at 1st Stage Theatre in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Mayzsoul’s “FRESH” is a collaboration of local dance artists. Under the artistic direction of Melanie Lalande, “FRESH“ features the choreography of company members and will explore methods of communication and question human behavior.
Lalande‘s featured piece uses music composed exclusively for Mayzsoul by
Seth Stachowsky, a Cirque du Soleil composer and band leader. Lalande is also the Artistic Director of Cirque du Soleil’s “Totem”.
